In 2019, I took advantage of a trip I took to the Nossa Senhora da Paz Monastery in Itapecerica da Serra to visit my aunt who is a nun there, and I stopped by São Paulo to explore the city and take some photos. I stayed for two days and walked around a lot with the camera in hand. Crazy I know, but it worked and I didn't have any surprises.
One of the photos I took on this trip was one of the 23 selected from the 777 photos sent by 112 photographers from all over Brazil to be part of the exhibition in honor of São Paulo's 469th anniversary. The photos went through popular voting and a technical jury, leaving me very honored with the selection.
The photo in question was taken at Estação da Luz at a busy time, when a train arrived. Well positioned and using a lower speed I captured the intense movement typical of São Paulo.
I will include some more images I took on this trip below, although I still have a lot of photos to edit.
